VIKINGOS<\/strong> es una banda de Hard rock independiente y de autogesti\u00f3n, que naci\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2000 en el Departamento de Las Heras, Mendoza, Argentina. Actual-mente el grupo tiene 22 a\u00f1os de trayectoria y est\u00e1 integrado por Alejandro \u201cChicho\u201d Carabajal en guitarra voz, Mart\u00edn Sosa en bajo y Luis Viale en bater\u00eda.<\/p>\nEn el 2004 lanzaron su primer demo denominado \u201cDemo 2004\u201d, y hacia el 2007 editaron Vikingos 2007. En el 2008, participaron en el disco \u201cGuerreros Cuyanos\u201d, compilado de bandas oriundas de Mendoza, San Juan y San Luis.
\nVikingos ha tocado en escenarios provinciales, nacionales e internacionales. En todo ese tiempo participaron con artistas de renombre como Luis Robinson (ex armoniquista de Pappo Blues y de la Missisipi), Almafuerte, Chizzo Napoli (cantante y guitarrista de La Renga) Horcas, IAN, entre otros.<\/p>\n
En el a\u00f1o 2009, Vikingos obtuvo un premio a los 9 a\u00f1os de trayectoria, por este suceso son reconocidos por grandes exponentes del rock argentino e invitados por IAN, a un show desarrollando en Capital federal.<\/p>\n
Tambi\u00e9n hacia el 2009 el grupo public\u00f3 su primer disco de estudio denominado \u201cEntre calles y suburbios\u201d producido por Marcelo \u201cEl Bicho\u201d Camarda (guitarrista de Pari\u00f3 la Choca).<\/p>\n
En el a\u00f1o 2012, Vikingos fue seleccionado como banda sonora de la miniserie \u201cBHIPER DUMAS\u201d creada por el cineasta independiente Javier Correa (nomi-nado al Martin Fierro del interior y transmitido por canal 7 en el medio local)
\nEn el 2014, la banda lanz\u00f3 su segundo trabajo en estudio: \u201cReyes y Conquistado-res\u201d. El disco cont\u00f3 con producci\u00f3n propia en el cual particip\u00f3 como invitado \u201cClaudio \u201cEl Tano\u201d Marciello (guitarrista de ALMAFUERTE) en la canci\u00f3n Sandokan. El material fue grabado en Fuentes sonoras.<\/p>\n
En el a\u00f1o 2018 el grupo grab\u00f3 \u201cJulio Pablo\u201d canci\u00f3n dedicada a Pablo Chac\u00f3n, ex campe\u00f3n mundial de boxeo. Este material le sirvi\u00f3 la banda como adelanto de su pr\u00f3ximo disco: Rocka mula\u201d.<\/p>\n
Entre los meses de diciembre del 2020 y enero del 2021, Vikingos grab\u00f3 una can-ci\u00f3n en homenaje a el Departamento de Las Heras la cual se llam\u00f3: \u201cLas Heras\u201d. En la misma participaron artistas mendocinos de renombre como: Bendita Ursula, Karamelo Santo, Pari\u00f3 la Choca, Chancho Va, Alvear Oeste, Los Chimenos y Vikingos.<\/p>\n
El tema se grab\u00f3 en los estudios Kubik (Mendoza Capital) fue producida art\u00edsticamente por Alejandro Carbajal y Marcelo \u201cEl Bicho\u201d Camarda se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como t\u00e9cnico de grabaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Tambi\u00e9n compartieron escenario con Logos, Tren Loco, Kapanga, Lovorne (hijo de Pappo), Viticus (ex Riff), Alejandro Sokol (ex Sumo y Las Pelotas), Motor Loco (ex Viejas Locas), Verdades Parias (liderada por Eduardo Ezcurra ex Mal\u00f3n y Razones Consientes). Y como fuera poco en el 2009 realizaron una gira por San Luis, San juan y Mendoza junto a Horcas.<\/p>\n
Vikingos tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 de grandes producciones Internacionales: \u00abENCUENTRO CUMBRE DEL METAL\u00bb, RIPPER OWENS (ex JUDAS PRIEST banda de trayectoria mundial y una de las creadoras del genero heavy metal) en su \u00fanica visita como solista al pa\u00eds y en Mendoza.<\/p>\n
El s\u00e1bado 9 de abril del 2022, Vikingos homenaje\u00f3 a ex – combatientes de Malvinas en el contexto de los 40 a\u00f1os de la guerra. El acto se realiz\u00f3 en la Sala Cultural Islas Malvinas (San Miguel 1540 Las Heras Mendoza) y se cont\u00f3 con la presentaci\u00f3n oficial de la canci\u00f3n \u201cMalvinas ex combatientes\u201d. La misma fue acompa\u00f1ada por la proyecci\u00f3n de su correspondiente video clip.
