\u201cECLIPSE\u201d, la banda mendocina que interpreta la m\u00fasica de PINK FLOYD, se presentar\u00e1 en el Teatro INDEPENDENCIA los pr\u00f3ximos Viernes 15 y S\u00e1bado 16 de Octubre a las 21:00 horas.<\/p>\n

En ambas funciones pondr\u00e1 en escena el espect\u00e1culo denominado \u201cPINK FLOYD THE WALL\u201d, una adaptaci\u00f3n multimedia del afamado disco y la revolucionaria pel\u00edcula que la banda brit\u00e1nica PINK FLOYD produjera hace cuarenta a\u00f1os. Estas obras no s\u00f3lo marcaron una \u00e9poca: son consideradas obras de culto por su formato y producci\u00f3n, y sobre todo por su significado hist\u00f3rico y manifiesto ideol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n

La obra ser\u00e1 montada por \u201cECLIPSE\u201d basada principalmente en la m\u00fasica del disco doble \u201cPINK FLOYD THE WALL\u201d, la que ser\u00e1 apoyada a manera referencial por im\u00e1genes de la pel\u00edcula del mismo nombre realizada por el laureado director ALAN PARKER. Adem\u00e1s, se transportar\u00e1n a escena a algunos de los personajes ic\u00f3nicos de la obra, personificados por los mismos m\u00fasicos, utilizando maquillajes y utiler\u00edas propias de la obra original. A todo esto se sumar\u00e1n efectos lum\u00ednicos y sonoros propios de los conciertos de PINK FLOYD, para apoyar la interpretaci\u00f3n musical que la banda mendocina realiza en forma textual y casi a la perfecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

THE WALL<\/h4>\n

El disco THE WALL (1979) responde a ideas que se fueron gestando durante la gira de su \u00e1lbum antecesor, ANIMALS (1977), mientras ROGER WATERS se hac\u00eda del control absoluto de PINK FLOYD, de sus aspectos ideol\u00f3gicos y sus decisiones art\u00edsticas.<\/p>\n

La obra esencialmente es una cr\u00edtica a las bases e instituciones del sistema capitalista y al aliento hacia el desarrollo de las guerras, exponiendo las consecuencias que esto genera en la salud, la vivienda, la educaci\u00f3n y la psiquis de las personas. Con cierto tono autobiogr\u00e1fico WATERS exhibe los dramas comunes de la \u00e9poca de la sociedad brit\u00e1nica como la p\u00e9rdida de su padre en la Guerra, la sobreprotecci\u00f3n de su madre, la represi\u00f3n del sistema educativo, la
\nsuperficialidad de la fama, los fracasos sentimentales o los excesos con las drogas.<\/p>\n

Sentimientos, que al decir de WATERS, llevaron y pueden llevar a muchos hacia la locura y a encerrarse detr\u00e1s de una pared.<\/p>\n

Pero la obra centra tambi\u00e9n su discurso en cualquiera de esas personas que se transforman en una verdadera caricatura del odio a s\u00ed mismo, haci\u00e9ndole florecer la intolerancia e ideas totalitarias hasta imaginarse como un l\u00edder fascista arengando a las masas, incit\u00e1ndolas a despreciar a las minor\u00edas.<\/p>\n

Detr\u00e1s de todo ese desarrollo, la obra no es m\u00e1s que un desesperado grito de libertad, en donde el mensaje final es positivo: siempre hay alguien que puede tender sus manos para sacar de adentro a quienes se encierran en sus muros.<\/p>\n

Todas las canciones fueron escritas por ROGER WATERS, salvo tres compuestas junto a DAVID GILMOUR y una junto a BOB EZRIN.<\/p>\n

El \u00e1lbum fue exitosamante llevado al cine. La pel\u00edcula, estrenada en Londres en 1982, fue dirigida por el laureado ALAN PARKER, quien se apoy\u00f3 en revolucionarias y pesadillescas animaciones realizadas por el caricaturista GERARD SCARFE.<\/p>\n

ECLIPSE<\/h3>\n

Formada en Diciembre de 1977, ECLIPSE debut\u00f3 en el Teatro Quintanilla de la ciudad de Mendoza. Casi 25 a\u00f1os pasaron desde aquella presentaci\u00f3n con la que pretend\u00edan interpretar, por \u00fanica vez, la m\u00fasica de PINK FLOYD. A punto de cumplir 25 a\u00f1os ininterrumpidos en escena, el grupo se presenta demostrando una solidez y madurez grupal acorde con la sensibilidad y destreza instrumental y talento de sus integrantes.<\/p>\n

En varias ocasiones ha llevado la m\u00fasica de los brit\u00e1nicos a las Provincias de San Juan y San Luis, y tambi\u00e9n a la Rep\u00fablica de Chile. En Mendoza, ha actuado innumerables veces en sus principales salas, como los teatros Independencia, Mendoza y Plaza, en Festivales al aire libre.<\/p>\n

Y ha participado en tres ocasiones, presentando justamente \u201cPINK FLOYD THE WALL\u201d, en grandes conciertos sinf\u00f3nicos junto a la ORQUESTA SINF\u00d3NICA de la UNCUYO y la FILARM\u00d3NICA DE CUYO. Durante la pandemia, en 2020, produjo en confinamiento un video junto a la primera de las ORQUESTAS, experiencia cuyo resultado fue visto en el mundo entero.<\/p>\n

El valor art\u00edstico de la banda ha sido siempre reconocido por la prensa y aclamada por sus seguidores, y tambi\u00e9n galardonada por sus pares, contando con tres \u201cPremios ESCENARIO\u201d por su calidad y nivel de producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
