Es m\u00fasico, docente y el primer saxofonista del rock mendocino.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La vocaci\u00f3n por el saxo la descubri\u00f3 a los 12, despu\u00e9s de haber visto al <em>Gato Barbieri<\/em> en la televisi\u00f3n y de haber escuchado los primeros discos de la banda \u201c<em>Arco Iris<\/em>\u201d, una de las agrupaciones fundacionales del rock argentino.<\/p>\n<p>Estudi\u00f3 clarinete en la Escuela de M\u00fasica de Mendoza y luego gracias a la mirada amorosa de sus padres, <strong>Walter<\/strong> tuvo su primer saxo y profesores que le ense\u00f1ar\u00edan a tocarlo:<em> Julio Terruli y Cosme Falangone.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>En el primer tramo de su camino musical, <strong>Walter Casciani<\/strong> integr\u00f3 las siguientes bandas de rock mendocino:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tecobe<\/strong>, con la que hicieron en el cine Selectro, la primera \u00f3pera rock conceptual mendocina, que se llam\u00f3 <em>\u201cA trav\u00e9s del Sol\u201d<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jam<\/strong>\u00a0 junto a <em>Natalio Faingold<\/em> (teclados), <em>Gustavo Blanc<\/em> (bater\u00eda),<em> Claudio Tarris<\/em> (bajo, guitarra y viola), Mario M\u00e1tar (guitarra) y \u00e9l en saxo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Los D\u00edas del Duende<\/strong>, con la que fueron teloneros de <strong>Ser\u00fa Gir\u00e1n<\/strong> cuando vinieron a presentar \u201cLa Grasa de las Capitales\u201d en el estadio Anzorena.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0y\u00a0 <strong>Sergio Bonelli Y La Mano<\/strong>, entre 1981 y 1982, despu\u00e9s de la cual desapareci\u00f3 de la escena musical durante diez a\u00f1os.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Su regreso fue en 1991 como alumno, disc\u00edpulo y socio de <em>Pablo Kusselman<\/em> en sus proyectos musicales de jazz y tangos de Piazzolla. Junto a \u00e9l, fundaron el CEA y el CENIAC (Centro de Educaci\u00f3n Musical), escuelas de m\u00fasica que ten\u00edan a Pablo como director.<\/p>\n<p>Fue miembro de <strong>Los Dinosaurios, <\/strong><strong>Neptuno Club, Tranco Urbano<\/strong>, <strong>Tres Atriles y<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Colectivo Tango<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En los \u00faltimos diez a\u00f1os, Walter empez\u00f3 a liderar algunos grupos de jazz con su nombre y se dedic\u00f3 a trabajar en d\u00fao con Gast\u00f3n Abdala, Carlos Acosta y Mariano Sol.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Actualmente contin\u00faa con el d\u00fao de Gast\u00f3n Abdala, integra el ensamble de Albertina Crescitelli junto a grandes m\u00fasicos y m\u00fasicas de Mendoza, es profesor en la Escuela de Rock Mario M\u00e1tar y da clases particulares de saxof\u00f3n.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Le pedimos a Walter que nos narre alguna an\u00e9cdota sobre el rock mendocino y esto fue lo que nos cont\u00f3\u2026<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/6m01uo814mDsAVIudxZiLb?si=UsKWHSHcRNeFddx7q5OBeA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Walter Casciani naci\u00f3 en Mendoza, Argentina; el 21 de diciembre de 1958.
