El pintor irland\u00e9s radicado en la provincia, Charlie O\u00b4Malley, presenta su primera exposici\u00f3n individual donde rinde homenaje a hombres y mujeres de la industria vitivin\u00edcola. La inauguraci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 el 12 de febrero en la Bolsa de Comercio de Mendoza y se podr\u00e1 recorrer hasta el 30 de abril.<\/h3>\n

A partir del 12 de febrero mendocinos y turistas podr\u00e1n apreciar una muestra \u00edntima y colorida sobre los protagonistas del mundo del vino. Se trata de la exposici\u00f3n \u201cThe Winemakers\u201d<\/strong>, del artista irland\u00e9s Charlie O\u00b4Malley que se presentar\u00e1 en la Bolsa de Comercio de Mendoza con entrada libre y gratuita.<\/p>\n

Establecido en Mendoza desde hace m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os, el tambi\u00e9n empresario del enoturismo y gran conocedor de las bodegas mendocinas, ha buscado capturar a trav\u00e9s de su trazo de pintor, la esencia de en\u00f3logos destacados del ambiente vitivin\u00edcola de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En su primera muestra individual, Charlie rinde homenaje a trav\u00e9s de una serie de retratos, a quienes dan vida a los vinos mendocinos. Su t\u00e9cnica le permite jugar con la luz y el color, creando obras que son tanto realistas como profundamente emotivas.<\/p>\n

\u201cComo retratista pens\u00e9 que ser\u00eda interesante ponerle cara al vino que todos bebemos y disfrutamos. As\u00ed que pint\u00e9 durante un a\u00f1o diferentes personalidades del mundo del vino, algunos famosos, otros no tan famosos, algunos amigos, algunos desconocidos, y el resultado son 20 retratos que espero que la gente disfrute y se maraville\u201d<\/em>, cuenta.<\/p>\n

Se trata de una serie de 20 obras de 20x30cm sobre lienzo con marco listo para colgar, donde el autor despliega su encanto por la piel humana, entre colores que conservan realismo y profundidad.<\/p>\n

La exposici\u00f3n \u201cThe Winemakers\u201d tendr\u00e1 su inauguraci\u00f3n el mi\u00e9rcoles 12 de febrero, a las 19.30h, en la Bolsa de Comercio de Mendoza (Sarmiento 199, de Ciudad). Se podr\u00e1 recorrer hasta el 30 de abril, de lunes a viernes, de 8.30 a 19h, con entrada libre y gratuita.<\/p>\n

SOBRE EL ARTISTA<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Charlie O\u2019 Malley naci\u00f3 en Irlanda. Desde muy joven se sinti\u00f3 obsesionado por el arte, pero dej\u00f3 a un lado esta pasi\u00f3n al emigrar de su pa\u00eds a los 17 a\u00f1os. Desde ese momento vag\u00f3 por el mundo durante mucho tiempo hasta que finalmente se instal\u00f3 en Mendoza, lugar donde reside desde hace 20 a\u00f1os. Fue en esta provincia que se desarroll\u00f3 como empresario del enoturismo y tambi\u00e9n retom\u00f3 su amor por el pincel. Comenz\u00f3 a pintar principalmente retratos, algo que siempre lo mantuvo cautivado, y poco a poco fue desarrollando su propio estilo guiado por el maestro Mauro Cano y su taller de artista La Caverna. \u201cThe Winemakers\u201d es su primera exposici\u00f3n individual de pinturas, donde rinde homenaje a hombres y mujeres protagonistas de la industria del vino de Mendoza.<\/p>\n
