De todos modos, nada pudo impedir que las artistas mujeres se expresaran musicalmente y se hicieran un lugar como parte esencial del rock, desde los comienzos, y a lo largo de la historia, una historia de la que fueron protagonistas, y que aqu\u00ed se intenta reconstruir.<\/p>\n<p>Como dice la etnomusic\u00f3loga <strong>Mercedes Liska<\/strong> en el pr\u00f3logo, <em>\u201ceste libro re\u00fane y sistematiza un conjunto de testimonios de vida y trayectorias art\u00edsticas, junto a un abanico extenso de documentos musicales y paramusicales que complementa ciertas ideas que se tienen del rock nacional, matiza otras y desmitifica algunos supuestos sobre la falta de presencia de m\u00fasicas mujeres en ese mundo. Se inscribe en un tipo de investigaci\u00f3n dedicada al redescubrimiento del papel que jugaron las mujeres en la historia, recopilando tanto nombres propios y recorridos individuales como informaci\u00f3n sobre las mujeres como colectivo social. Establece una genealog\u00eda que detalla una tradici\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de cincuenta a\u00f1os de mujeres que se dedicaron a hacer rock, sus procesos creativos, ret\u00f3ricas, intenciones y b\u00fasquedas. Contribuir a una historiograf\u00eda alternativa de la m\u00fasica popular que parte de reivindicar su existencia es un hecho pol\u00edtico sobresaliente de este libro y de estos tiempos\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Esta detallada investigaci\u00f3n pretende dar un panorama general de las m\u00faltiples maneras \u2013muchas m\u00e1s de las que gran parte de sus cultores registran\u2013 en que las mujeres fueron parte del rock en la Argentina desde la d\u00e9cada del cincuenta hasta el fin del siglo XX.
